DESCRIPTION
Discharge nozzle is used to facilitate the uniform distribution of FM-200™ (HFC-227ea) agent throughout the protected hazard space during system discharge. The discharge nozzle is available in 180° and 360° types. The 180° nozzle is intended for sidewall installations, while the 360° nozzle is installed at the center of coverage area in an upright or pendant position. The discharge nozzle is fitted with an orifice plate having drill size specifically designed to enable the flow of the required amount of agent at prescribed pressure and discharge time as determined using the flow calculation program. Orifice drill sizes are available in 0.2 or 0.5 mm increments.
